Dr. Sam Daoud is the fifth child of a family of six. His father is a University professor in dermatology, his mother is a retired school teacher.
He chose to go to dental school after finishing high school in Damascus-Syria. He always loved the combination of art, engineering, and science in dentistry. Sam earned his first doctor of dental surgery degree from the University of Damascus, School of Dentistry in 1995.
Wanting the best for his dental knowledge, he achieved his dream by coming to the US in 1996. In 1997 he started at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH as a third year student where he graduated with another DDS degree.
To further hone his dental skill and knowledge, he finished his General Practice Hospital Residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital, New Haven, CT in 2000.
Since then he has been in private practice, consistently attending the best dental seminars to continue enriching his dental knowledge.
In July 2010 Dr. Daoud got his fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry Certificate. Such certificates are given to dentists who have earned over 500 continuing education hours.
Currently, Dr. Daoud is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and The Syrian American Medical Society.
Dr. Daoud makes his home in Avon, OH. He is married to Nagham with whom he has three children: Maya 17, Sal 13 and Zain 8 years old. He spends most of his time with family and friends. He enjoys traveling and playing basketball.
Dr. Daoud's practices are located in Avon Lake at 215 Miller Road and in Sandusky at 3708 Columbus Ave.
